Highly Structured Treatment Program
The Highly Structured Community Residential program is for male students 14-17 years of age, or the age of majority from the referring state, who are in need of a short term intervention. Length of stay in this program is typically 90 days, however if a student not making progress towards the outlined goals and objectives they can be recycled back into the program for an extended time period. The daily routine consists of intensely scheduled programming, education, individual and group skill building activities, and physical education. With its focus on behavioral and cognitive change, the program is unique in its application of structure, teamwork, and student leadership opportunities. The focus on cognitive change and not only behavioral change is what sets this program apart from other structured programs. There are four recognized Levels of Achievement that a student can earn at the completion of the highly structured program. These are designated as Discharge, Graduate, Honor Graduate, and Knight. |
