The Sexual Offender Treatment Program...
serves males between the ages of 12 and 18 who have demonstrated sexually aggressive or inappropriate behaviors. The length of stay ranges from 9 to 24 months. The treatment focuses on victim empathy, healthy relationships, identifying and recognizing triggers, and relapse prevention. Students are prepared for victim reunification when appropriate. Specific emphases include identification of the offender’s sexual offenses and cycle, reducing denial, taking full responsibility for offenses, recognizing impact on victims, and the identification of techniques to interrupt the student’s offense cycle.
